The Carolina Long Bay project harnesses the power of offshore wind to generate abundant energy and significant economic growth for the communities of the Southeast.
Located 20 nautical miles (37 km) off the coast, the project, scheduled for completion in 2030, covers a 120 square nautical miles area (222 km2). It has a capacity of 1 GW and promises to cover the energy needs of over 300,000 homes.
