Named after the nearby village where the power plant is situated, Bap is a large solar power plant in operation. Located in Rajahstan in northern India, the solar facility is composed of 612,000 solar panels. This project was financed in 2014 by local and international financing institutions, including International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). It was refinanced in 2020 by the Indian Bank NHDC.
