If you are looking to lower an industrial or commercial building’s energy costs, upgrade your roof to meet the latest standards or start building passive or positive-energy facilities, Total Solar has extensive experience turning rooftops and facades into solar power stations for self-consumption or sale. Here are a few examples.

We fitted 2,400 sqm of solar panels onto the facade of Total’s Centre Scientifique et Technique Jean Féger (CSTJF) in Pau, France.

This building, where 2,800 Total employees come to work every day, can now produce 230 MWh a year.

The Paris Law School in Issy-les-Moulineaux, southwest of Paris, now has 250 sqm of solar panels on its roof.

This photovoltaic power station produces 50 kWp and covers 16% of the building’s energy consumption. The school consumes most of the station’s output and stores any surplus power in underground batteries or injects it into the neighborhood’s grid.

We have been building photovoltaic systems onto our industrial plants and service stations since 2016. These solar panels on rooftops and carports in Total group facilities around the world are also our way of promoting solar power. They will produce 35 to 50 MWh a year depending on their location.
