Success stories around the world
A solar power station in Japan, rooftop arrays in France, carports in Nigeria and more.
The Commission de Régulation de l'Énergie (CRE) is coordinating the French photovoltaic industry by running calls for tenders for the construction and operation of rooftop or ground-mounted solar systems. These systems’ power ratings vary from one call for tenders to the next.
We are confident that our in-depth knowledge of these mechanisms, our experience fine-tuning our pricing on tenders and assure us a leading place in the French market. We are installing capacity to produce about 42 MW in several sites across of France in 2018.
We will team up with various Total group affiliates—including GreenFlex (energy optimization), SunPower (photovoltaic module production), Total Spring (green electricity supply) and Saft (high-performance storage)—to cover all your requirements in the photovoltaic chain.
When you entrust us with your project, we will appoint a single correspondent who will coordinate the entire process and steer your project to completion as smoothly as possible. We are aware how exacting legal and administrative requirements can be and our goal is to deal with them so that you can spend more time doing what you do best.
Our aim at Total Solar, in other words, is to develop and deliver bespoke solutions encompassing design, operation and maintenance, and to do our utmost to relieve you of the formalities that may be holding your project back.
Two of our production plants in the country manufacture high-efficiency photovoltaic panels and we are working on and with research hubs and experimental projects. We are a founding partner of the IPVF (Institut Photovoltaïque d’Île de France) and involved in the IssyGrid project, for example.
The Total group has been investing in France’s photovoltaic sector and building it into a world-class industry for over 40 years.
